This itinerary is not for the faint-hearted: it requires excellent riding skills, technical ability, and a good dose of daring. But anyone venturing on these roads will be richly rewarded.
The charm of Parco Oglio Nord: The #TEMERARIO200 will take you through hidden trails and breathtaking views within the Parco Oglio Nord. Here, the flora and fauna will surround you as you pedal through forests, fields, and riverbanks. The singletracks along the river's edge are one of the most thrilling parts of the route. These narrow and technical trails require skill and concentration, but they will give you moments of pure adrenaline and natural beauty.
The Bergamo part of the route is hilly and very suggestive. You will cross small villages, admire breathtaking panoramas, and immerse yourself in the local culture.
The dirt roads and singletracks will take you to places that tell the story of these lands. Every kilometer will be a journey through time, between traditions and legends.
From the lake to Franciacorta: Around kilometer 135, you will reach Lake Iseo, a body of water nestled among the mountains. From here, the descent towards Franciacorta will begin, famous for its vineyards and important wineries. You will pedal among rows of grapes, passing by the places where renowned wines are born. The peat bogs and river landscapes will complete this unique experience.
